This is arguably one of the hardest Workout Wednesdays, thus far. No DOUBT, this was the most challenging 25 minute workout we have done together!
25 minutes.
That is all it takes.
It makes me laugh when people say “I don’t have time for a workout.” That is NOT the right excuse. Say what you really mean —> “I’m lazy.” Sorry for being blunt, but it’s true. I am guilty of it, we all are at times. Yes, there are days when we are incredibly busy, but taking even 10 minutes out of the day to push yourself is well worth it in the end. Guaranteed after your workout, no matter how long it is, you will be happy that you did it.
That is one of the reasons we love HIIT, which stands for: High Intensity Interval Training. You don’t need to workout for long to get a GREAT workout in! There are so many different varieties of HIIT workouts to chose from. Many use slim to none equipment, which is also an added bonus because you can do it wherever you are!
We got our HIIT workout from a fellow Fitfluential ambassador, Heather Balogh. Check out her site to see what she thought of the workout: http://www.justacoloradogal.com/2012/01/new-fav-hiit-workout-gymboss-giveaway.html We love supporting other ambassadors and trying out their workouts – it keeps us from getting bored with our normal “routine” since we are constantly switching it up. This HIIT workout only called for a bosu ball and a 25 lb dumbbell (or you can use a kettlebell)
Here’s the workout!
As you can see, it’s 20 seconds of work with 10 seconds of rest for 4 minutes (8 rounds). We took a 1 minutes break in between each set. It was funny because during the first 20 seconds of each exercise we were like “yeah this will be okay,” but then even past 1 minute we were DYING. The hardest exercise was probably burpees or pushups, especially because they were last. The plank jacks were tough too! Much more difficult than they look.
This was our first HIIT workout, and we are excited to try out more! What is YOUR favorite HIIT workout? Send us the link and we will be sure to try them out!
PS: Here’s a little preview of our new AMAZING shoes! This is us after our workout – don’t be fooled by the smiles on our faces, we were exhausted – but happy to have done the workout….:) We will be writing a review on these shoes in the coming week, plus a discount to offer you guys so be on the look out!

Brutally intense, but over much sooner than a conventional workout!
And those shoes are fab; do they come in purple? (my current favourite colour…)
YES THEY DO
